Chiller Flushing Kit

This Kit Includes:

1. 1 Gallon of Citranox
2. 1 Gallon of Isogard
3. 16 oz of GAX-26

Citranox

Citranox is an acidic cleaner and detergent that is biodegradable. It is used to flush the Chiller (water cooler). Use 1/2 gallon of Citranox per 50 gallons of water.

Isogard

1 gallon of Corrosion Inhibitor. Use 1/2 gallon of Isogard per 50 gallons of distilled water. Replace the water every 3 months or as recommended by the manufacturer.

GAX-26

16 oz bottle of an industrial microbiocide for use in recirculating water coolers. Use 5 oz per 50 gallons of distilled water. Replace the water every 3 months or as recommended by the manufacturer.

Water Flushing Procedure

The purpose of these procedures is to make sure that new water and chemicals are installed in the chiller every three months for optimal performance of the laser cooling system. In addition, every sixth month the cooling system is also flushed of all debris and unwanted chemicals.

Every 3rd month:

Replace water by using these steps:

1. Drain all the water in the tank
2. Fill with new distilled water
3. Add 0.5 gal of ISOGUARD per 50 gal of distilled water used
4. Add 5 oz. of GAX-26 per 50 gal of distilled water used

Every 6th month

Replace water by using these steps:

1. Drain all the water in the tank
2. Fill tank with tap water and 0.5 gal of CITRONOX per 50 gal of water.
3. Run the chiller for 6 hours with high voltage on
4.  a. Drain all the water in the tank

                     b. Fill the tank with tap water only

                     c. Run the chiller for 10 minutes

                     d. Repeat steps a through c at least 3 times.

      5. This will flush the tank and the lines of unwanted debris and chemicals.

      6. With the tank empty, fill the tank using the “Every 3rd month” instructions.
